Terms of Service

1) Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PaperPush (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are using PaperPush on behalf of a business, you represent you have authority to bind that business.

2) The Service

PaperPush provides tools for:

• Ingesting invoices/receipts from connected services (e.g., Gmail)
• Extracting and structuring documents (including automated/AI processing)
• Reconciling transactions (e.g., via Plaid)
• Exporting data to accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) or CSV

3) No professional advice

PaperPush is not an accounting firm, law firm, or financial advisor. The Service provides automation and tooling only.

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing extracted fields and totals
• Confirming classifications (invoice vs receipt)
• Ensuring exports match your accounting rules and compliance needs

4) AI / Accuracy disclaimer

The Service may use automated processing (including AI/LLMs). Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or incorrect classifications.

You agree you will not rely solely on the Service for financial, tax, or compliance decisions without human review.

5) Eligibility and account security

• You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for your account credentials.
• You must notify us promptly of unauthorized access.

6) Integrations and third-party services

If you connect third-party services (Google/Gmail, Plaid, Intuit, banks, etc.):

• You authorize PaperPush to access and process data permitted by the scopes you grant.
• PaperPush is not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, delays, throttling, or data loss caused by those services.
• Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

7) User content and data rights

You retain ownership of your data (“User Content”), including documents and extracted outputs.

You grant PaperPush a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to operate the Service.

8) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law using PaperPush
• Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or abuse
• Upload malware or harmful content
• Interfere with the Service (rate-limit dodging, scraping, etc.)
• Use PaperPush to violate privacy rights or confidentiality obligations

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9) Plans and billing

• Some features require payment.
• Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change pricing with notice.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.

10) Data retention and backups

We use reasonable measures for backup and recovery, but:

• We do not guarantee zero loss
• You are responsible for exporting and retaining any records you must keep independently

11) Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate Terms
• Your usage harms the system or other users
• Required by law
• Non-payment

Upon termination, we may delete your data subject to retention requirements (see Privacy Policy).

12) Warranty disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaperPush disclaims all warranties, including:

• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Availability or uninterrupted operation

13) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• PaperPush will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• PaperPush will not be liable for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
• PaperPush’s total liability will not exceed the amounts you paid PaperPush in the last 3 months.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PaperPush from claims arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violations of third-party rights or laws

15) Confidentiality

We will treat non-public business information you provide as confidential and use it only to provide the Service.

16) Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and Terms. We’ll provide notice of material changes. Continued use means you accept updates.
